A participant can receive a refund on a program if the Recreation Department is notified in writing seven (7) days prior to the start of the program. There is a $10.00 administrative fee with the refund process. We do not pro-rate any program fees.

The Department of Parks and Recreation maintains a courts light policy based on the time of year.
November 15 - March 31:
- The basketball and tennis court lights at Jeff Young Park and Maple Dawson Park will be turned ON from 30 minutes before sunset – 8 p.m. on days when outdoor temperatures reach at least 40 degrees at 5 p.m.
- The lights will NOT be turned on if temperatures are forecast to be below 40 degrees at 5 p.m. if it is raining, or if the courts are covered with snow or ice.
- The Wesley Bishop Park lights will be on for Parks & Recreation programs or if the fields have been reserved by other organizations.
April 1 - November 14:
- The basketball and tennis court lights at the township parks will be turned ON from 30 minutes before sunset – 10 p.m. unless it is raining.
- The Wesley Bishop Park lights will be on for Parks & Recreation programs or if the fields have been reserved by other organizations.

Parks & Recreation
Park bathrooms are open from the beginning of April until the middle of November. The bathrooms are not heated, which requires the water to be shutoff during colder months.
