[ARCHIVED] Support Strawbridge Lake at Annual Race and Festival

The Strawbridge Lake Beautification Committee is hosting its 4th Annual Moorestown Paddle Board/Kayak Race and Family Festival at the corner of Kings Highway and Haines Drive in Moorestown on Saturday, June 11 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This year’s event will surely be an enjoyable day to come out and compete in the Paddle Board /Kayak race as well as enjoy all the attractions the Family Festival has to offer. There will be food trucks, microbreweries, vendors, live music, a Silent Auction, and kayak rentals for a nominal fee between 1-3 p.m. There will be lots of family fun! Those wishing to compete in the race can borrow a kayak at the event but must register ahead of time.  Register to race at https://runsignup.com/Race/NJ/Moorestown/TheMoorestownPaddleBoardKayakRaceFamilyFestival. No experience is necessary! It’s a fun and wonderful way to view Strawbridge Lake Park from the water while enjoying some friendly competition and there will be prizes for the winners!

We are also seeking sponsors, vendors, and volunteers for this event, as well as donations for the silent auction table. For information, please visit www.strawbridgelakebc.org.

The last three events were great successes! Proceeds from past events have been used toward funding the lake edge clean-up and the addition of a permanent floating dock, with plans to add two more docks!

The SLBC is a 501 (c)3 all-volunteer non-profit organization created in 2018, whose mission is to raise funds to be used toward the beautification of Strawbridge Lake, which has been a town treasure in Moorestown for nearly 100 years and attracts people from all over our region.
