[ARCHIVED] Rec. offering 'Learning Theatre Skills Through Play' starting March

The best performances are the ones truest to real life. We firmly believe this and that's why we are offering a program to help young actors start to get in touch with their truest most playful side of themselves. Through games that were created for actors and games that were also created for non actors we will teach valuable theatre techniques that will help performers with everything from auditions, to rehearsals and getting into character, until the performance itself. We believe that learning should be fun and that's exactly what this class is about. Learning a lot through fun! We will be using improv techniques through all theatrical mediums (Music, Dance, and Acting). These games and exercises will help us get in touch with the parts of ourselves that are truest to who we are and the least scripted. We hope you will join us in bringing out your greatest strengths as a performer. Let's play, learn, and create together!
