[ARCHIVED] Rec. planning kid activities for teachers' convention days

School is off on Thursday, Nov 4 and Friday, Nov. 5, so the Moorestown Department of Parks and Recreation is planning fun activities for those days in the latest of the "School's Off, Rec.'s On" series. Eric Cassidy will have the kids playing multiple outdoor activities; kickball, handball, dodgeball, team games and basketball. Indoor games will also be available. Please provide your child with a snack or lunch, and bring a mask.

All activities will adhere to current New Jersey State COVID Safety Standard Guidelines. 

Grades: Boys and girls in grades 1-6   

Dates: Thursday, November 4 or Friday November 5  

Times:  9:00-1:00 pm  Location: Jeff Young Park  

Fee:  Resident -$50, Non-Resident - $70

Instructor: Eric Cassidy has been a Physical Education Teacher in grades K-12 for 13 years along with being a Varsity Boys Basketball coach. In his classes he hopes to encourage sportsmanship, teamwork and personal growth.  On the basketball court he has over 230 wins as a head coach with 5 conference title and a South Jersey Championship.
