Please be advised of the Department of Parks & Recreation's Lights Policy:
April 1 - November 14:
- The basketball and tennis court lights at the township parks will be turned ON from 30 minutes before sunset until 10 pm unless it is raining.
- The Wesley Bishop Park lights will be on for Parks & Recreation programs or if the fields have been reserved by other organizations.
November 15 - March 31:
- The basketball and tennis court lights at Jeff Young Park and Maple Dawson Park will be turned ON from 30 minutes before sunset until 8 pm on days when outdoor temperatures are forecast to reach at least 40 degrees as of 5 pm.
- The lights will NOT be turned on if temperatures are forecast to be below 40 degrees at 5 pm, if it is raining, or if the courts are covered with snow or ice.
- The Wesley Bishop Park lights will be on for Parks & Recreation programs or if the fields have been reserved by other organizations.
