Sept. 16– The Midiri Brothers have been internationally recognized in the swing and trad Jazz world for decades. Weather it’s with their small groups or big band, Atlantic City, in jazz festivals in Florida L.A., NYC, or Europe, Joe’s flawless clarinet/Sax artwork, Paul’s beautiful vibraphone artistry, along with a driving rhythm section, have delighted audiences for quite some time.
Moorestown is home to two members, drummer Jim Lawlor, and superb guitarist, Pat Mercuri.
The very tasteful trumpeter Dan Tobias is a lucky catch for this concert, extraordinary and imaginative pianist Joe Holt, and very capable and swinging bassist Doug Drews help drive it all.
October 7 – Opus Soul is an eclectic mix of blues, funk, jazz, and rock. the group covers everything from modern renditions of early R&B and Blues classics to John Coltrane, Eric Clapton, Little Feat, Bob Dylan, Tom Waits and Bob Marley. This mixed with the bands soulful originals makes for a truly entertaining musical experience.
