EMERGENCY WATER RESTRICTIONS IN EFFECT
To conserve water and reduce peak demand on the water supply, the Township of Moorestown is implementing mandatory water use restrictions and an ODD/EVEN sprinkling schedule. All residents are asked to cooperate and directed to abide by the ODD/EVEN schedule during the summer months.

A ban on the use of automatic sprinklers or sprinkling systems between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily is in effect. Hand held hoses are permitted at all times on the appropriate odd/even day. Under the ODD/EVEN system, homeowners or businesspersons with address numbers ending in an ODD number are required to do their sprinkling on ODD numbered days only. Homeowners or businesspersons with address numbers ending with an EVEN number are required to do their sprinkling on EVEN numbered days only.

These restrictions are effective immediately and will continue to be in effect until September 30, 2010. Any questions, please call Public Works at 856-235-3520 (nights and weekends, call 856-235-0550).
