Obtaining a License
To obtain a copy of a Marriage or Civil Union Application Form, click the following link Application Form Online. |
|
Once you are legally joined, you can obtain a 'Certified' copy of your License in the municipality where the ceremony occurred. You should take special note that the pink copy you are given by the official that joins you, is not an official or legal document. You must obtain an official copy from the Registrar of the municipality where the ceremony took place. Click here to view a list of Local Registrars.
If the ceremony took place in Moorestown and you would like to obtain a 'Raised Seal Certified Copy' of your license, click here. |
|
Please note that a Certified Copy of a vital record is issued to those individuals who have a direct link to the individual(s) named on the vital record, as identified in Governor McGreevey's Executive Order 18, and provided that the requestor is able to identify the vital record and can provide proof of his identity and relationship. See the Certified Copy Request Form for more detailed information on who can obtain a certified copy of a vital record and what identification and documentation must be provided before issuance. |
