Welcome to the Moorestown Township Police Department website. As Chief of Police I am honored to work alongside our dedicated officers and civilian personnel providing our residents and visitors a safe place to live and work. We provide municipal policing services to our 21,000 residents within 15 square miles. This increases to a daytime population of approximately 40,000 thanks to Moorestown’s robust industrial, commercial and retail districts highlighted by Main St. and the Moorestown Mall. In service to our citizens, the Moorestown Police Department handled over 16,700 calls in 2017.

The officers of the Moorestown Police Department approach their responsibility to protect and serve with a focus on community policing. We subscribe to the six pillars of policing in the 21st century which include; Building Trust, Policy Development, Technology, Crime Reduction, Training, and Officer Wellness and Safety. We take pride in working with our community and our law enforcement partners with the support of Safe Streets funding to employ proactive problem solving strategies and tactics to deter crime. I invite you to partner with us in our effort to develop strong ties with the community to prevent crime from flourishing.
