CHALLENGER

BASEBALL

PROGRAM

  (Ages 5-23)
The Challenger Program is an adaptive baseball program for individuals with physical and intellectual challenges.

AGES:

5 to 23

DATES:

  Saturdays, September 22 to October 27 (make up date of November 3)

TIME: 

2:00 to 3:30 PM

LOCATION:

  Pryor Park, corner of Salem and Hartford Roads, Moorestown

FEE:

  Free - thanks to our sponsor, Mr. Ken Catanella and UBS.
 

EQUIPMENT: 

Gloves and bats will be provided if needed. Shirts and hats will be distributed to players at the field on first week (or first game player attends).

REGISTRATION:

COACHES/BUDDIES:

Volunteers and needed and welcome.  Buddy Flyer . Register at: Community Pass under Fall 2018, Baseball: Challenger Buddy or Challenger Coach.


LET'S DANCE - Friday, October 19th


High school students and young adults with Special Needs...Bring your dancing shoes and show off your moves. Proper attire required.

  Free, but please register so we can plan accordingly

CHAPERONES:

Adults familiar with the students are required to accompany at a 4:1 student to adult ratio.  1:1 required if stipulated in IEP.

:  High School special needs students and young adults.  Open to residents and non residents.

TRANSPORTATION

: Provided by the Moorestown Township Public Schools Participants from the Moorestown High School will be bused after school to the Moorestown Recreation Center and transported home leaving at 4:30 pm.

TOPSOCCER

PROGRAM


The Maple Shade TOPSoccer Program and the Moorestown Department of Parks and Recreation are offering an inclusive soccer program open to children ages 3-21 with special needs.  The program offers a modified version of the game of soccer designed to provide a fun, relaxed, and active environment for children with special needs to participate with the help of a "Buddy".

   Free, but you must register.  Registration is on the Maple Shade Soccer Club,  www.mapleshadesoccer.net.
