Family Support Outing - "Everybody Wins" Basketball Clinic

Join us for our "Everybody Wins" Basketball Clinic. Individuals with special needs and their siblings or friends will practice basketball skills related to passing, dribbling, defending, and shooting, in a positive and fun atmosphere. The Moorestown Department of Parks and Recreation and Moorarts invite you to join us for Karaoke Night - a family outing especially for individuals with special needs.

SPECIAL NEEDS SUMMER RECREATION PROGRAM – 2017 “KIDS HELPING KIDS”.

AGES

: Two groups – Ages 5 to 12 (Students transitioning from kindergarten to first grade to 6th grade) Ages 12/13 to 21. (Students transitioning from 6th to 7th grade to young adults)

DATES

: Wednesday, July 5 thorugh Friday, July 28. 

TIME

: Monday – Thursday 12:30-3:30 PM (directly following ESY)Friday – 8:30-3:30.

LOCATION

: South Valley Elementary School.

TRANSPORTATION

: Moorestown students will be dismissed at 3:30 PM and transported home. Friday participants in Moorestown will be picked up in the morning and transported home in the afternoon.

ACTIVITIES

: Field trips, theater, arts and crafts, games.  

BRING

: Bagged lunch and an afternoon snack.

FEE

: $100.00 per participant (VISA and MasterCard accepted).

REGISTRATION

TOPSOCCER PROGRAM


The Maple Shade TOPSoccer Program and the Moorestown Department of Parks and Recreation are offering an inclusive soccer program open to children ages 3-21 with special needs.  The program offers a modified version of the game of soccer designed to provide a fun, relaxed, and active environment for children with special needs to participate with the help of a "Buddy".

  Church Street Recreation Center Gym, Moorestown

Saturdays, March 25 to May 20 (No program April 15)

TIME:

  9:00 AM to 10:00 AM

FEE:

   Free, but you must register.  Registration is on the Maple Shade Soccer Club,  www.mapleshadesoccer.net.
