Holiday Trash Schedule:
Martin Luther King Day - No Change.
President's Day - No Change.
Memorial Day - All Trash will be collected one day behind schedule.
Fourth of July - No Trash collection on Wednesday. Wednesday Trash will be collected Thursday and Thursday trash will be collected Friday.
Labor Day - All Trash will be collected one day behind schedule.
Columbus Day - No Change.
Veteran's Day - No Change.
Thanksgiving - No Trash collection Thursday.  Thursday & Friday Trash will be collected on Friday.
Christmas - Trash collection Monday. No trash collection Tuesday.  The rest of the week all Trash will be collected one day behind.
New Years - Trash collection Monday. No trash collection Tuesday.  The rest of the week all Trash will be collected one day behind.
 
Residential Trash Collection:  Trash should be curbside by 7am the day of scheduled collection. The very earliest trash may be placed at the street is at dusk (or sunset) the day before.  Maximum weight is 60 pounds per container. Maximum capacity for trash cans/containers is 30 gallons.  Pursuant to State Stormwater Management Regulations, debris may NOT be placed in the roadway or within 10 feet of storm drain outlets.

Appliances, Scrap Metal and Tires will be collected as specified in the chart above.  Material must be curbside by 7am.  These items may also be brought to the Public Works Center, SATURDAY only, between 8am and Noon.  (A maximum of two (2) tires per household will be accepted on Saturday.)

Construction Debris: 
Small amounts of residential construction debris from minor projects will be collected.  Generally these projects produce less than 3' x 3' of waste.  Construction debris from larger projects will not be collected and is the resident's and/or contractor's responsibility for proper removal and disposal.  Residents may bring up to 3' x 3' of construction debris to the Public Works facility on Saturday mornings.  Concrete, concrete blocks or brick cannot be collected curbside - residents should take them to a private recycling center.

The Creek Road Compost Facility (located between Borton Landing and Centerton Roads) is open to Moorestown Residents on designated SATURDAYS ONLY.  Click here for list of current dates. 

Hazardous Waste:  Public Works will not accept hazardous waste.  These materials may be disposed of through the Burlington County Resource Recovery Complex according to their prescribed schedule.  Please contact the County at 609-499-5317 for details.
